This calendar of College Placement activities lists important dates for students and parents. The annual College Placement admission, funding, college-bound student-athlete, and fafsa worknight meeting schedules are listed here. This calendar lists opportunities for students to meet colleges either at GHS or at special meetings held in Illinois. The calendar is updated as new events are scheduled by colleges. To gain access to the best chances for admission and funding, it is very important that students visit with college representatives.
Many colleges visit Glenwood High School. To gain admission to a "Visit with a Rep" presentation, students need to bring a ticket signed by the teacher of the class they will miss. Students are expected to work with their teacher to make up any work missed, and to attend visits only with reps of colleges to which they may apply for admission.
